FAQ
Short answers to common questions about Bookline.
Does Bookline need WooCommerce?
No. It works on any WordPress site, with or without WooCommerce.
Are there limits on services or bookings?
No. Add as many services and take as many bookings as you like.
Can customers pay online?
Bookline shows prices, paid on arrival. Online payment with Stripe or PayPal, in full or a deposit, is part of Bookline Pro.
Can two customers get the same time?
Not by accident. The server checks the time again when a booking is saved, one booking at a time, so the last free time goes to whoever confirms first. For classes, customers share the places until it's full.
Can I have several staff members?
Bookline has one schedule, the business's. Bookline Pro adds staff members with their own hours, days off and services.
Can customers book without an account?
Yes. They only enter their name and email (and phone if you ask). Their booking link works without logging in.
Can I add bookings myself?
Yes: Add booking on the Calendar or Bookings screen, at any time.
Can I translate Bookline?
Yes, on translate.wordpress.org; languages/bookline.pot is included for Poedit or Loco Translate.
What happens to my data if I delete Bookline?
When you click Deactivate, Bookline asks what should happen to its data if you then delete the plugin: keep it (the default) or delete it. Deactivating alone never removes anything.
