Getting started
Requirements
The WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions Discountline needs, and what it works with.
Versions
| Minimum | |
|---|---|
| WordPress | 6.5 |
| WooCommerce | 8.2 (tested up to 11.1) |
| PHP | 7.4 |
Works with
- The Cart and Checkout blocks and the classic cart and checkout shortcodes. Discounts are worked out on the server, so both show the same prices.
- Block themes and classic themes. Sale prices and badges use WooCommerce's own price display; the quantity price table appears above the Add to cart form on both.
- High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the older posts storage.
- Variable products. A rule for a product covers all its variations, and quantity discounts can count variations together.
- Your own WooCommerce coupons. They keep working alongside automatic discounts; see Order discounts for how the two combine.
What Discountline doesn't change
Discountline never edits your products' prices. Discounts are applied as the shop and cart are shown, so turning a rule off, or deactivating the plugin, brings back your regular prices at once.
