Installing Discountline Pro

Discountline Pro is an add-on: it adds rule types, conditions and tools to Discountline, which stays installed and keeps doing everything else. You need both.

Before you start

• WooCommerce and Discountline 1.0.0 or later, installed and active. If you don't have Discountline yet, install it from Plugins → Add New Plugin (search for "Discountline"); see Installation.
• The discountline-pro.zip file and the license key from your purchase email. Both are in the email Lemon Squeezy sent after you bought Discountline Pro.

Install and activate

1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin at the top.
2. Choose discountline-pro.zip and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate Plugin.

WordPress won't activate Discountline Pro while Discountline or WooCommerce is inactive; it lists what's missing instead. Activate those first.

Enter your license key

Back on the Plugins screen, there's a box under Discountline Pro:

1. Paste the license key from your purchase email.
2. Click Activate.

The box turns green and shows the end of your key and, for a yearly license, the date your updates run until. See Licenses and updates for moving the key to another site.

Check it works

Go to Marketing → Discount rules and click Add discount rule. The Rule type box now offers Buy X, get Y and Free shipping, and there is a Customers and schedule box. Marketing → Test discounts is new too.

While Discountline Pro isn't active

Rules that use Discountline Pro's features stay saved. Discountline holds them back (they show Needs Discountline Pro), and as soon as Discountline Pro is active again they apply, with their results, and nothing to re-enter.
