Adding and duplicating
Add new drafts and copy existing posts without leaving the grid.
Note
This is part of Sheetline Pro.
Add a post
- Click Add Post (or Add Page, Add Case Study…) next to the screen's title.
- Type its title and click Add.
The new post is a draft by you, at the top of the grid, ready to fill in: categories, excerpt, custom fields, date. Set its Status to Published (or Scheduled) when it's ready, and write its content in the editor from the row's Edit link.
The button is there for people who can create posts of that type.
Duplicate posts
- Tick the posts to copy.
- Click Duplicate above the grid.
Each copy is a draft by you named "(title) (Copy)", at the top of the grid, with the original's content, excerpt, categories, tags and other terms, custom fields, featured image, parent, order, template and format. The original's edit lock and old addresses stay with the original. Posts you can't edit aren't copied; the notice says how many.
Neither is in the history
Adding and duplicating aren't saves in History, so they can't be undone there. Move unwanted posts to the trash from the post type's list screen.
