Conditions

Choose the products a label shows on: on sale, new, featured, stock status, category, tag, products and product type, all or any.

A label's Products box decides which products get it. Without conditions, a label shows on every product.

Adding conditions

  1. Click Add condition.
  2. Choose the condition, then how it compares (such as is or is not) and its value.
  3. Add more conditions if you need them, and choose whether a product must meet all of them or any of them.

Click Remove to take a condition out.

The conditions

Condition Matches
On sale Products on sale now: a sale price (a scheduled sale only while it runs), or, for a variable product, any variation on sale. Choose no for products that aren't.
New Products published in the last N days (from the product's publish date), or published more than N days ago.
Featured Products you starred as featured on Products, or those you didn't.
Stock status In stock, out of stock or on backorder (one or more), or not. A variable product is in stock when any variation is.
Category Products in one of the chosen categories, including their subcategories: a label for "Kitchen" also shows on "Kitchen › Mugs".
Tag Products with one of the chosen tags.
Product The chosen products.
Product type Simple, variable, grouped or external products.

Examples

Label Conditions
"{discount} off" On sale: yes
"New" New: published in the last 14 days
"Staff pick" Featured: yes
"Sold out" Stock status is Out of stock
"Ships in 2 weeks" Stock status is On backorder
"Back to school" Category is Stationery and On sale: yes
"Gift idea" Tag is Gift or Category is Gifts (match any)

Variable products

Labels belong to the product, not to its variations: a variable product shows the same labels whatever size or colour a shopper picks. Conditions look at the product as a whole: it's on sale when any variation is, and {discount} shows the most any variation saves.

Note

Labelline Pro adds conditions for price and stock ranges, attributes, best sellers, ratings, sales ending soon, customer roles, shipping classes, dates and days of the week. See More conditions.
