# FAQ - Slotline 1.x documentation

> Short answers about capacity, optional dates, pickups, fees, translations and your data.

## Can customers skip the date?

Only if you untick **Required** in the Delivery schedule section. Then the date is optional.

## Can I offer dates without time slots?

Yes. Remove every row from the time slots table and save: customers choose a date only. **Orders per day** still limits each date.

## Do cancelled orders keep their place?

No. Cancelled, failed and refunded orders free their place straight away. Pending, processing, on-hold and completed orders keep it.

## Can I book a full slot for a customer myself?

Yes, on the order screen. It lets you choose any date and slot; only customers at checkout are held to the schedule.

## Can pickups have dates too?

Not in Slotline: local pickups aren't asked for a date. Slotline Pro adds a pickup schedule of its own, with or without time slots.

## Can I charge more for evening or weekend slots?

Not in Slotline. Slotline Pro adds a fee per slot, shown at checkout and added to the order.

## Does it work with HPOS and the Checkout block?

Yes, with both of WooCommerce's order storages and both checkouts.

## Can I translate Slotline?

Yes, on [translate.wordpress.org](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/slotline/). WordPress downloads the translations for your site's language automatically. The template is also included as `languages/slotline.pot` for tools such as Loco Translate.

## What happens to my data if I delete Slotline?

When you click **Deactivate**, Slotline asks what should happen to its data if you then delete it. **Keep it** (the default) leaves your schedule and the dates on orders in place for a reinstall. **Delete it permanently** removes them when you delete the plugin. Your orders themselves are never deleted, and Slotline Pro's settings are left to Slotline Pro.
