# Featured images and SEO - Sheetline 1.x documentation

> Pick featured images from the media library in the grid, and edit SEO titles and meta descriptions for Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO.

> [!NOTE]
> This is part of **Sheetline Pro**.

## Featured images

The **Featured image** column sits next to the title, for every post type that has featured images. It shows each post's image as a thumbnail.

1. Click the cell. **Choose image** and **Remove** appear.
2. **Choose image** opens your media library: pick one (or upload one) and click **Use this image**.
3. The cell shows the new thumbnail, highlighted as an unsaved change. Save as usual.

**Remove** takes the featured image off the post (the image stays in your media library). With **Bulk change** you can set or remove the featured image of many posts at once.

## SEO titles and descriptions

While one of these SEO plugins is active, its SEO title and meta description are columns too:

| Plugin | Columns |
|---|---|
| Yoast SEO | Yoast SEO title, Yoast SEO description |
| Rank Math | Rank Math title, Rank Math description |
| All in One SEO | All in One SEO title, All in One SEO description |

They're hidden at first: switch them on in **Screen Options**. They're there for post types that have pages on your site.

What you type is saved where that plugin keeps it, so its own box on the edit screen shows the same text. Each plugin's variables, such as Yoast's `%%sitename%%` or Rank Math's `%sitename%`, are saved as you type them. Because the post is saved through WordPress afterwards, each SEO plugin updates what it keeps about the post, as when you click **Update**.

> [!TIP]
> Find posts without a meta description: show the column, sort by it, and the empty ones come first. Fill them in, or use **Bulk change** with **Set to** for a starting text.
