# Requirements - Preorderline 1.x documentation

## Versions

Preorderline is tested with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce releases.

## Works with

- **Checkout**: the Cart and Checkout blocks and the classic shortcode checkout.
- **Payment methods**: any. Customers pay for a pre-order at checkout like for any other order.
- **Order storage**: High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the older posts storage.
- **Themes**: block themes and classic themes. The button, stock text and release dates come from WooCommerce's own functions, so there are no templates to override.
- **Product types**: simple and variable products. Grouped and external products don't take pre-orders.

## Multisite

Preorderline can be activated per site or network-wide. Each site has its own settings, products and orders.
