# Installing Bookline Pro - Bookline 1.x documentation

Bookline Pro is an add-on: it needs the free **Bookline** plugin, which keeps doing everything it does. Pro adds staff members, online payments, calendar sync, reminders, recurring bookings and extra questions.

## Install

1. Make sure **Bookline** is installed and active (**Plugins → Add New Plugin**, search for Bookline).
2. Download `bookline-pro.zip` from your purchase email or your account on extendiment.com.
3. Go to **Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin**, choose the zip, click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.
4. Enter your license key under **Bookline Pro** on the Plugins screen (see [Licenses and updates](licenses-and-updates)).

## Where things are

- **Bookline → Staff**: your staff members ([Staff](staff)).
- **Bookline → Settings** gets five tabs: **Staff**, **Payments** ([Payments](payments)), **Calendar sync** ([Google Calendar and feeds](google-calendar-and-feeds)), **Reminders** ([Reminders](reminders)) and **Form fields** ([Extra questions](extra-questions)).
- Each service gets **Online payment** and **Repeats** settings ([Recurring bookings](recurring-bookings)).

## If you deactivate Bookline Pro

Everything it stored stays. Bookline goes back to one schedule for the business: bookings made with staff members keep their times and still count as busy, so nothing is double-booked. Bookings waiting for payment show as "Pending payment" and free their time once their hold runs out. Staff members lose their view of the bookings. Activate Bookline Pro again and it all comes back.
